VirusBarrier detected almost all of the malware samples on my device - including trojans, adware, and many other potentially harmful files.

But overall Intego is a great product - it scored top marks in macOS virus protection, ease of use, and overall value, it’s cheaper than most other Mac-based antiviruses, and it ranked as the #1 antivirus for Mac in 2023. So, is Intego worth the money? Definitely! There are a few things that could be improved, such as having one single interface, better instructions in a few places, and a VPN that’s included as part of its main package. It’s not easy to find a good Mac antivirus, but after testing virtually all of the macOS antiviruses out there, I can confirm that Intego is my favorite. Intego is the best antivirus software for Macs on the market.
