This man has a 50 miles round trip every day add that up times how many employees. It is not right how they waste our money, The pick up every day alone is a huge expense - the gasoline the upkeep of the truck, tires etc.

I also complained to Rural Electrification in Raleigh and sent them pictures. Recently their were four trucks over their wit h the Blue Ridge Employee who lives next door, In the middle of the day they were working on installing power on the property. I have witnessed them felling trees for the neighbor, installing equipment pouring gravel with Blue Ridge equipment and most likely their gravel. Their employees are allowed to take a truck home every day and use Blue Ridge equipment and man power at will. Their excuse - the old meters were running slow. Prior to installing the new meters I was using 9 kwh a day after the new meters they said I was using 19 kwh a day. One of their employees lived next door and refused to allow it to go down the side of his property so I had to pay to have it put underground. First they had the electric wires running directly over the house and refused to remove them even though it was a safety issue and could burn the house down. This is one horrible corrupt company I have had issues with them ever since I came to this area 25 years ago. Maybe quit spending your money on high ceilings and big giant wooden doors. We have phones that can detect your face. You will be forced to call their inefficient, pain the a** system, and waste 20 minutes of your life. Don't try calling in either, because they won't take your card over the phone. My biggest qualm with this company is what a pain it is just to make a payment. Service has been friendly and prompt when needed. 59$ a month for a 300mbs connection that actually hits its speeds and doesnt go down all the time Also if your a gamer due the the way bremc has there service set up it shows as strict double Nat (even without a router directly plugged in) and stops you from being able to multi play and chat on certain games and causes live streams to get cut off mid run for no reason If you have the option go with the new kinetic windstream internet. I would advise anyone new or old to the area to stay away from their internet service at all costs. Would be get lucky every once and a while and one would come in and verify that the internet wasnt hitting its proper speeds, then would say he didnt know what it could be it has to be something outside then would leave with no fix.

Techs would take weeks to come out and then not actually do anything. After Several calls and attempts to try and get whatever the issue was fixed it would never happen. Not only a terrible power company but even worse internet provider.Was paying 120$ a month for a 100mbs connection that would barely hit 45mbs on a good day, and was down several times a month.
